Subproject: Safety & Security in the digitalisation of small and medium-sized enterprises

As the number of benefits brought by digitalisation increases, so does the number of new, previously unknown issues that need to be addressed by small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

The Mittelstand 4.0-Kompetenzzentrum Magdeburg aims to create confidence in digitisation among SMEs, empower employees and managers to implement digitisation measures and enable "digitisation aha experiences". In order to achieve these goals, the technology and knowledge transfer appropriate for SMEs is divided into five different focal points. Otto von Guericke University is involved in the focal points "Safety & Security", "Digital Business Models" and "Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning". In order to ensure the transfer of technology and knowledge in these focal areas in a way that is appropriate for small and medium-sized enterprises, a wide variety of offers are planned in this project.

For questions regarding the project, please contact Herrn Prof. Dr. Frank Ortmeier or Herrn Sebastian Nielebock.
